1st day: Kato Xenia Monastery

Visit in Kato Xenia Monastery (estimated drive time 1,5 h) free time for worship. You can visit the old, destroyed monastery on “Calvary” hill. You can optionally visit the monastery in Ano Xenia, which is half an hour away, free time for worship.
Afterwards, we suggest a visit to a picturesque, coastal village called Amaliapolis (Mitzela, which is half an hour away) to have lunch at a traditional tavern! Return to Volos. Free time to relax or visit a church in Volos.(Agios Konstantinos, Agios Nikolaos and so on)

2nd day: Tour on Pelion

First we visit the Church of Pammegiston Taxiarhon in Milies (estimated time 1h), free time for worship and visit the public library of Milies( in which there is among others the rich auctorial material  of the school of “Psihis Akos” the revolution flag that Anthimos Gazis raised on 8th May 1821, which emerged the revolution against the Turks and so on)  the folkloric museum in Milies! (where we can find objects and images about saddlers , blacksmiths, sculptors in stone and master builders)Next stop is the traditional village Kissos(estimated drive time  1h)! At the beautiful, built from stones square of the village there is the church of Agia Marina(dated back to  17th century). You will have free time to eat at a tavern! Next stop before we get to Volos is at Portaria/ Makrinitsa to have a coffee and a traditional sweet (estimated drive time 2h).

3rd day: Central AND South Pelion

Visit at the Monastery of Timios Prodromos, Sikis (estimated time 2h), free time for worship.
Afterwards, we suggest a visit to the traditional, coastal village Kala Nera (estimated drive time 1h) to have lunch at a traditional tavern! Then we suggest a visit to the Monastery of Pammegiston Taxiarhon at Nilia, free time for worship and we return to Volos.

4th day: Agia ( Thessaly )

Visit at the Monastery of Timios Prodromos, in Anatoli in Agia (estimated time 2h), free time for worship. Then we suggest a visit at the picturesque coast line of Larissa (estimated drive time 1h) to have lunch at a traditional tavern! On your way, you could visit the Monastery of Agioi Anargyri and the Monastery of Panteleimona. Then we return to Volos.

5th day: Central Pelion

We suggest a visit to the church of Panagia Goritsa, free time for worship. Afterwards, we visit the Monastery of Agios Lavrentios and the church of Agios Apostolos o Neos(estimated drive time 1h), free time for worship. Then, we suggest having lunch at a coastal village, such as Gatzea because from there we can visit the Monastery of Agia Triada, free time for worship. We return to Volos.

6th day: Meteora (Kalambaka)

We suggest a visit at  Meteora, which present a unique beauty and a religious interest(estimated drive time 2h)! You can visit the Monasteries of Agios Stefanos and Magalo Meteoro. There will be free time for submission and you can have lunch at a local restaurant- you can visit a laboratory-exhibition place of hagiography. We return to Volos late in the evening.
